Probably Wednesday or Thursday....
The blood drainage is still not slow enough for the doctor to take out the tube so it looks like Dad won't be coming home until Wednesday or Thursday.

Bill, please tell Joe it is one day at a time. It is a long, complete recovery. He will tire easily even after 2 weeks. The soreness in his sternum, ribs, breasts, all of the area where he was cut will be there for at least 6 to 8 weeks, with tenderness even after that. Do not overdo!!!! I know men want everything right now, but this will not happen. Tell him I will gladly talk to him as will many other fellow open heart, bypass patients. Love to all. M
